Pro-Sil Kids is our premium-grade silicone scar care stick, specifically crafted for children. It comes in a fun purple tube and has a sheer shimmer when applied to the skin. Biodermis crafted this formula to have shimmer for the product to be fun for kids, but the shimmer was also crafted so that parents and guardians would be able to see where the product was applied! The medical grade silicone in Pro-Sil Kids properly hydrates and oxygenates the skin allowing surrounding healthy tissue to better blend with scar tissue, resulting in a scar that is more natural in color, softer, and flatter overall. Our medical grade silicone is completely non-toxic as well as safe and easy to use. Pro-Sil Kids is a hypoallergenic product and can be used on sensitive skin. The medical grade silicone Biodermis uses in its formula is the best option for treating new and old scars.
Scar care works quickest the more often silicone covers the scar. With portable Pro-Sil Kid's, silicone can be transported in a purse or pocket and applied any time of day, on-the-go! It is great for wiggly, ready-to-run youngsters who might not leave a scar patch on all day.
Instructions: Clean and dry the scar site before each application. Apply Pro-Sil® liberally over the entire scar. Repeat several times daily for 8-12 weeks or until the scar stops responding. To remove, wipe off with a clean cloth or tissue. Recommended storage conditions are 55ºF – 95ºF (13ºC-35ºC). The overall optimal period of use is usually 8 to 12 weeks.
