Benefits of Clean and Non-Comedogenic Products

Benefits of Clean and Non-Comedogenic Products

When discussing topicals, "clean" means that the product does not contain any toxins such as natural rubber, fragrances, preservatives, dyes, or metals. These are the top five allergens that have been listed by the FDA. These top five allergens contain endocrine-disrupting ingredients such as BPA, PVC, and phthalates. Endocrine-disrupting ingredients are harmful to the human body as they interfere with your hormones. The use of these chemicals is harmful and is associated with a wide range of health issues.

Biodermis provides premium grade silicone in our silicone sheeting, patented silicone sticks, and our silky smooth Episof gel. None of our products have endocrine-disrupting ingredients because they are 100% clean and allergen-free. The premium grade silicone that is used in these products consists of clinically tested products designed to interact safely with the human body. All of our products have passed the rigorous FDA standards and are sold in hospitals, surgery centers, and private practices all around the world.

'Comedogenic' refers to the likelihood for a skincare ingredient to disrupt the skin barrier and lead to clogged pores.  At Biodermis, our premium-grade silicone is non-comedogenic. The use of Pro-Sil, Episof, or any of our silicone sheeting will not clog your pores. Our products fight to balance out the oxygen in the area where the product is used and works to soothe and promote healing within the area without the use of any harmful ingredients.
