I just wanted to update you on Karam. The gel sheets arrived and his father also spoke to the military doctor. You cannot believe how grateful the family is. I’m enclosing a picture of Karam’s burns, which were e-mailed to us. Karam’s father wrote that the doctor had indicated – if there was not a good result with the gel-sheets, we must try to get him to the United States. Karam’s doctor in Iraq actually asked where he got the gel-sheets from; as I’m sure they were amazed when he received them.
After seeing the photos, a doctor here in the U.S. said “with his extensive problem, only the silicone gel sheets seem like an option to try.” So, they really must be a wonderful item. Now we are all praying and thanks to your immediate response to our call, little Karam does have a chance.
So, all in all, you have done a wonderful thing – giving hope to this family, where they had none before.
We cannot thank you enough and thought you would like to know the results of your humanitarian efforts.
