How Does it Work? Scars need an “ideal healing environment,” meaning the appropriate balance of moisture and maximum exposure to oxygen. Epi-derm™ is a fully-encapsulating sheet — it completely covers the scar treatment site for uniform treatment of the entire site. Although the entire site is covered, Epi–derm™ is semi-permeable, allowing oxygen to enter while keeping excess moisture out — the ideal environment for healing scar tissue.
Epi-Derm™ Silicone Gel Areola Circles
Ideally dimensioned for small hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from areola reconstruction and breast augmentation surgery. The areola circles can be cut to size. Pairs of Mastopexy forms and Pairs of Areola circles are sold separately.
