How Does it Work? Scars need an “ideal healing environment,” meaning the appropriate balance of moisture and maximum exposure to oxygen. Epi-derm™ is a fully-encapsulating sheet — it completely covers the scar treatment site for uniform treatment of the entire site. Although the entire site is covered, Epi–derm™ is semi-permeable, allowing oxygen to enter while keeping excess moisture out — the ideal environment for healing scar tissue.
Epi-Derm™ Large Silicone Gel Sheet
A full-sized sheet is ideal for the reduction of post-burn scarring. It can be wrapped around a limb or cover large scar areas on the torso. Epi-Derm's healing environment is also beneficial for burn scar reduction & therapy.
