Scar treatment could help Michigan pastor move past vicious attack

For many people, trauma scars tell a story that many people would rather forget. One of those people is Kevin Ramsby, a pastor in Highland Park, Michigan, who was left with more than 37 stab and slice wounds after a home invasion last year.

According to official reports re-reported in the Rockford Register Star, Ramsby awoke to the sound of shattering glass in his home at roughly 3 a.m. last August. When he went downstairs to investigate, he found a shirtless man walking through his home, whom he then proceeded to tackle to the ground.

What Ramsby didn't know was that the intruder was brandishing a large knife that he then used to stab and slice the pastor 37 times around his abdomen, face, chest, neck, arms, hands and shoulders.

While Ramsby no longer bears any ill will towards his attacker, his numerous scars will forever remind him of this near-death experience.

"It is a constant reminder when there are so many scars all over you," Ramsby told the news provider.
