Minimally invasive liposuction offered for patients looking for quick recovery

A new procedure referred to as body jet, which uses water to gently dislodge fat cells so that they are easily vacuumed from a patient, offers individuals less discomfort and minimal downtime than traditional liposuction.

Dr Steven L. Ringler of the Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery is offering patients in the Grand Rapids, Michigan, area the new procedure as a stand-alone option, or individuals can choose to combine it with another cosmetic surgery.

Dr Ringler is able to offer patients who have had a face or necklift the body jet procedure, which could further enhance their new appearance. The fat cells that are removed using the body jet are found to remain intact compared to those that are damaged from the traditional liposuction procedure, so they may be re-purposed in other areas of the body, like the face or neck.

Most cosmetic or surgical procedures come with side effects or possible complications, one of which may be scarring.

The use of scar treatment products like silicone ointment may help diminish the appearance of scars that are the result of a cosmetic enhancement or surgical procedure.ADNFCR-3015-ID-19933540-ADNFCR
