FBI using plastic surgery to track down famed mobster
Liposuction Scars Products
Epi-Tape™ (EPT-97) - $3.15
Epi-foam™ - $34.65
SilqueClenz™ (SLC-497) - $4.20The search for Boston-based mobster James "Whitey" Bulger has taken many twists and turns over the years, but the latest development in the FBI's desperate gamble to catch the gangster is still a surprise. The FBI recently took out a full-page ad in Plastic Surgery News, a publication aimed at plastic surgeons, asking if any surgeons had recently treated Bulger's girlfriend and suspected travel partner, Catherine Greig.
According to authorities, Greig previously underwent liposuction, breast augmentation surgery, a facelift, and a nosejob. The FBI is hoping that she may have opted to continue surgery while on the run. Surgeries of these kind often leave behind scars that can be treated with silicone-based scar healing products.
The ad features numerous photos of Greig. There is a longstanding $2 million dollar reward for information leading to the capture of Bulger.
For those who aren't the girlfriends of mafia kingpins, surgeries like these can leave patients with an appearance marred by scars. The use of silicone gel sheeting can visibly reduce those scars, giving patients the appearance they desired before surgery.
