A suspect in 18 stabbings was recently apprehended at an airport in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was about to board a flight to Israel, The Associated Press reports.

Elias Abuelazam is accused of stabbing 18 people in three different states, and has been on the run since May, when the attacks began.

One of the victims, Antwoine Marshall, spoke to the news source about his ordeal and how he feels about the manhunt coming to an end, according to the news source.

He was attacked by Abuelazam when the perpetrator asked for the victim to help him with his car. Marshall was stabbed twice, and now has a long scar that leads from his chest to his pelvic area.

"Every time I look at my scar, I get angry," Marshall told the news provider.

Abuelazam has been charged with assault with the intent to murder in connection with an attack that occurred in late July.

Scars from an attack may be treated with new scar treatment products like silicone gel sheeting or ointment, which may help reduce the appearance of the mark.ADNFCR-3015-ID-19924930-ADNFCR
