Musician Professor Green may receive comfort in knowing that the attacker who left him scarred is facing some serious jail time.

MTV UK reports that Anthony Jones, 25, may be given a very substantial jail term according to the judge presiding over his grievous bodily harm case.

Jones has been found guilty of stabbing Professor Green in the neck with a broken bottle, which resulted in the musician spending time in the hospital and fighting for his life. Green now sports a six-inch scar along his neck from the attack. He also says that he is still struggling with the psychological effects of the incident.

"It made me angry. I thought I was going to die when I was outside on the pavement holding my neck and face together," Green told The Mirror about his assault.

Jones will be sentenced on November 10. Authorities say that the attack may have been provoked by jealousy that Jones held towards the artist.

Scar treatment products such as silicone ointment and gel sheeting may help diminish the appearance of marks incurred from accidents or surgeries with continued use over time.
