Nick Hemming was on a vacation with his girlfriend in Turkey when they decided to give paragliding a try. He now fears his modeling career may be in jeopardy as a result of a frightening accident that occurred, The Sunday Mercury reports.

Hemming was attached to an instructor at the time of the accident. The pair was the first of a group of 20 to jump.

As they began their approach, they were able to get 3 feet off of the ground before crashing down the cliff. They were dragged about 15 feet, with Hemming's face being scraped along the ground, the news source reports.

He now has a 3-inch scar on his forehead and and a mark on his chin.

Serious sports or athletics may sometimes cause bumps, bruises and even a scar or two.

With products like silicone ointment, you may be able to diminish the appearance of the mark and get back out on the playing field.ADNFCR-3015-ID-19922645-ADNFCR
