Lisa Rinna goes under the knife for lip reduction
Actress Lisa Rinna is known for one thing - having very large lips. Well, now the star has decided to change her look, as she recently had her upper lip reduced in size.
People Magazine reports that Rinna had silicone injected into her upper lip in 1986, which helped create her now famous pout, but over the years she became known more for her lips and less for her talent.
"My lips started to define who I am," she told the news source. "That bothered me."
Rinna said that her lip began to feel bumpy and uneven, which prompted her to go under the knife and have it reduce in size this past August. Though her mouth is still swollen and it may take up to six months for her to completely heal, she feels happy about her decision.
"It's a work in progress," she told the news outlet, "but I feel fantastic."
Certain cosmetic procedures may leave behind scars, but the use of silicone ointment or gel sheeting may help reduce the appearance of those marks over time.
