The heartthrob remembers preparing for a bath when he suffered the severe burns.
"[My earliest memory is] being in a hospital when I was very young. I got burned in the bathtub back when there used to be gas boilers. I have scars on my inner thighs," he told the news source.
Iglesias is no longer ashamed of his scars, in fact he recently made a bet to water ski in the buff over a World Cup match, the news provider reports.
Scars may prevent individuals from being fully comfortable in their own skin, but there are new scar treatment products that may offer them a boost to self confidence.
Silicone gel sheeting and ointment may help reduce the appearance of scars that are the result of a burn or accident.
