Model still pursuing career after facial scarring
Jo Minto was an innocent bystander when she was struck in the face by a pint glass. This incident resulted in multiple facial scars but she is not letting that hold her back from pursuing her career as a model, reports News.Scotsman.com.
Minto had already been modeling previously before the incident. However, when a pint glass aimed for a man she was sitting beside ended up hitting her instead, the future of her career may have been uncertain.
She has made a marvelous recovery after almost losing her sight and being left with facial scarring.
"You can hardly notice it and now I feel I have fully recovered," she told the news source. "You can't see any scarring on my face, unless you are up close, and with a little make-up you would never know anything had happened at all."
Individuals who have sustained scarring from an attack or accident may have a solution, thanks to advancements in scar treatment.
Silicone ointment and gel sheeting may help diminish the appearance of scars whether they're the result of a sporting injury or glassing attack.
