Golden-voiced homeless man left with facial scar after brawling with daughter

Ted Williams, a homeless man who recently became an overnight sensation due to his 'golden voice,' was left with a large facial scar after an altercation with his estranged daughter, Voice Online reports.

Williams is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict who got into a heated argument with his daughter, Janey. He states that he asked her to be quiet while he spoke to her mother when the girl exploded.

"She jumped up in my face. Fists started flying - none of them which were mine, but it was escalating to that point where it could've gotten ugly," he told the news source. "In the process of doing that, I got scratched on my face."

Janey alleges that her father called her rude names and may have been under the influence of alcohol. Incensed by his behavior, she left a four inch scar on the left side of his face.

The Domestic Violence Resource Center reports that in a national survey of American families, as many as 10 million children either witness or experience domestic violence each year.

Many of these incidents may result in injury, and those who have sustained facial scars as a result may turn to silicone gel sheeting. This method of scar treatment may help reduce the appearance of unsightly marks or blemishes.
