Bethenny Frankel may want to look into silicone gel scar treatments

Bethenny Frankel, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of New York City, gave birth to her daughter Bryn via a cesarean section surgery three weeks ago.

She has already lost all of the baby weight, but has been covering up her midsection because of the scar left over from the procedure. She recently posed for a photo spread in US Weekly.

"In terms of the bathing-suit shot, I purposely didn't wear a bikini in the photo. I thought it would be cheesy, so I wore a one-piece," she told MomLogic.com

When having a c-section, a scar is inevitable, but there are new treatments available for women who had the procedure done but aren't too happy with the scar left over.

With breakthroughs in scar treatment, women who have just had children do not have to worry about hiding their post-pregnancy bodies any longer. Silicone ointments and gel sheeting are easy to use products that will reduce the appearance of a c-section scar. There isn't anything better than having a child, and losing the baby weight is great self-esteem booster.
