After stabbing, Miami Beach woman can reduce scars with silicone ointment

Police responded to a 911 call in Miami and found an African-American woman in her late 20's with multiple stab wounds in her neck. They declined to identify the victim.
The woman was transported to nearby Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable but critical condition. She underwent surgery there before police could question her.
Both the surgery and wounds will leave scars on the woman's neck. Silicone gel sheeting can greatly reduce the appearance of scars, especially those related to trauma or surgery.
Miami Beach police are still looking for the suspect. They have not yet had a chance to speak with the victim.
