When Biodermis™ introduced Epi-Derm™ nearly twenty years ago, our goal was the same, and it hasn't changed. Epi-Derm™'s unique composition results in a product that is as comfortable and easy to use as it is effective.

Biodermis not only originated the scar management field, but has been leading the industry in developing products with proven effectiveness since 1989. Many other companies have tried to imitate our offerings. We’re always flattered. These companies, however, soon falter because their products just don’t measure up. We research and test every item we put our name on to ensure our clients receive the most advanced and successful products available. Scars challenge us primarily because they come in many shapes and sizes. Epi-derm™ answers this challenge with multiple configurations, in a thin, easy to use silicone gel sheet. Silicone  gel sheeting like Epi-derm™ has proven to be highly effective  in  restoring  injured  skin.  The Epi-Derm™ system fully encapsulates the scar site, keeping excess moisture out while allowing for increased oxygen exposure.

Because Epi-derm™ creates a natural homeostasis healing environment, patients experience faster and more successful results. A single sheet of Epi-Derm™ can be used for up to two weeks before discarding, and patients who practice a regular treatment regimen experience terrific results.
